In 1 Kings 18:25-29 we read:
“25 Elijah said to the prophets of Baal, “Choose one of the bulls and prepare it first, since
there are so many of you. Call on the name elohekem [of your god], but do not light the
fire.” 26 So they took the bull given them and prepared it.
Then they called on the name of Baal from morning till noon. “Baal, answer us!” they
shouted. But there was no response; no one answered. And they danced around the
altar they had made.
27 At noon Elijah began to taunt them. “Shout louder!” he said. “Surely he is elohim
[gods]! Perhaps he is deep in thought, or busy, or traveling. Maybe he is sleeping and
must be awakened.” 28 So they shouted louder and slashed themselves with swords
and spears, as was their custom, until their blood flowed. 29 Midday passed, and they
continued their frantic prophesying until the time for the evening sacrifice. But there was
no response, no one answered, no one paid attention.” (NIV)
When all those priests had shot their wad and no fire burned their bull, we then read in verses 30-39:
“30 Then Elijah said to all the people, “Come here to me.” They came to him, and he
repaired the altar of the Yahweh, which had been torn down. 31 Elijah took twelve
stones, one for each of the tribes descended from Jacob, to whom the word of the
Yahweh had come, saying, “Your name shall be Israel.” 32 With the stones he built an
altar in the name of the Yahweh, and he dug a trench around it large enough to hold two
seahs [approx. 24 lbs] of seed. 33 He arranged the wood, cut the bull into pieces and laid
it on the wood. Then he said to them, “Fill four large jars with water and pour it on the
offering and on the wood.”
34 “Do it again,” he said, and they did it again.
“Do it a third time,” he ordered, and they did it the third time. 35 The water ran down
around the altar and even filled the trench.
36 At the time of sacrifice, the prophet Elijah stepped forward and prayed: “Yahweh
elohe [Yahweh of the gods] of Abraham, Isaac and Israel, let it be known today that you
are elohim [gods] in Israel and that I am your servant (at your command) and have done
all these things at your command. 37 Speak me, Yahweh, speak me, so these people
will know that you, Yahweh haelohim [is our gods], and that you are turning their hearts
back again.”
38 Then the fire of the Yahweh fell and burned up the sacrifice, the wood, the stones and
the soil, and also licked up the water in the trench.
39 When all the people saw this, they fell prostrate and cried, “The Yahweh —he is
haelohim [is our gods]! The Yahweh —he haelohim [is our gods]!” (NIV)
Now, in the above translations, you will note that I have restored the truth of the Hebrew written, which has been translated into English wrongly, calling the true name Yahweh ["יְהוָ֤ה"] a diminutive title “Lord,” when Baal is a "god" that qualifies for such a lesser title [demon variety]. The element of a personal “Lord” is then defined as “elohim” (in its various forms presented above), which is a Hebrew word that is plural in number. It means gods – and it is not capitalized, as would be "Yahweh" ["יְהוָ֤ה"] – an allowance in a language that has no capital letters. Again, Baal (a word that means "Lord") qualifies as an el, with all his priests being souls sold into commitment to their “Lord” Baal, with the plural number representing the combined soul of a priest (an individual el) joined with the soul of Baal (an individual el), with that pair together being elohim (gods) in each human being. A soul, being eternal and spiritual qualifies as being an el.
When this is understood, the combined words “Yahweh elohim” is then reflective of Elijah, as his soul had submitted to Yahweh, with His Son’s soul (Adam-Jesus) being joined with the soul of Elijah, becoming the true “Lord” over him in that spiritual union in the flesh, as a prophet. This is then defined as: “Yahweh elohe [Yahweh of the gods] of Abraham, Isaac and Israel, let it be known today that you are elohim [gods] in Israel and that I am your servant (at your command) and have done all these things.” That says Abraham, Isaac and Jacob were all souls like Elijah, who had joined with “Yahweh elohe,” which became the defining property of a true “Israel” – a name meaning [a soul in the flesh] “Who Retains the elohim of Yahweh.” Thus, at the end of the reading above, the people (whose souls had turned away from Yahweh and were following the priests of Baal) were “having their hearts turned back to Yahweh,” where a “heart” means the love of Yahweh that made them all (each individually) become “Israel” again, through a spiritual marriage of Yahweh elohim and each saved soul.
Now, the reason I post this article today is this must not be seen as a one-time event. It must be applied always (as long as souls animate flesh) as a reminder to the people (those taught to believe in Yahweh), who have ceased being true Israelites (not the name of citizens of a nation), because if they follow the priests of Baal (whatever they will be called throughout the ages), then they will suffer the same fate as did the priests of Baal, after the people cried out, “Yahweh is our elohim!"
After the people returned their “hearts” to Yahweh, Elijah cried out to seize the priests of Baal, which they did, taking them down to the “brook of Kishom” (Hebrew words meaning “torrent of snaring”), which is metaphor for the emotional-led killing of demons that had led the people to worship lesser elohim, rather than be Israelites. It is like Legion and his demons being cast out of a soul-flesh man they possessed, into a herd of swine, which jumped off a cliff into the sea and drowned. Those pigs were likewise killed emotionally in the "torrent of snaring." This relates at all times to a sinful soul being washed clean of all past sins, to forevermore kill off any allegiance to demon spirit possession (being led by the priests of Baal).
There are said to have been “four hundred fifty prophets of Baal and four hundred prophets of Asherah, who eat at the table of Jezebel” (verse 19). This must be read more importantly as the metaphor implied by those words. The number “four” is a ‘cornerstone’ or ‘base’ number, with “one hundred” being a reflection of the percentage within each of those “who eat at the table of Jezebel,” as to how much their souls were totally committed to serve Baal. The "fifty" then implies assistants who were only 'half' prepared (50%) to serve as prophets, being more like students or disciples. The priests of Baal and the priests of the goddess Asherah (a name meaning "Progression, Happiness, Fortuna") were a "base" following that was 100% behind the lead of their queen, who promoted belief in those elohim as her "gods.". To be fed from the “table of Jezebel” means the Queen spoke to all the priests as if she were the one who heard Baal and Asherah speak [union with Baal made his soul possess one's soul, with him as Lord over the soul then that union promised to bring to the flesh all the physical rewards of that commitment - as Asherah incarnate]; but that means Jezebel then became a possession of the “Lord” Baal that her priests served totally. She became the embodiment of a source of wealth to ensure the happiness of her followers. The number ‘400’ is then less about a physical count, as there were four hundred souls in four hundred bodies of flesh, with fifty trainees still only souls yet to be possessed, but more a statement about the number who were ALL IN in service and commitment to Jezebel (a name that means “Not Honored By Cohabitation). That name meaning says the soul of Jezebel was possessed by a demon spirit (her Lord), but she had no godlike powers to join her soul with the souls of her priests (as Jesus had, and one can then assume so too did Elijah). So, when the priests called upon Baal to light their fire, there was no true Lord within their souls to come to their aid.
Let me now explain the symbolism of Elijah proposing to the people a challenge of priestly sacrifice. He said to bring "two bulls," from which the priests of Baal would chose which to cut into pieces, as an offering to their god. Each "bull" must be seen as metaphor for the choice each human being has to make: Do I sacrifice my self-soul to a commitment that pleases the flesh (worship of Baal)? Or, do I sacrifice my self-soul and cut it into pieces to be burned on the altar (as did Abel), whose released soul (the metaphor of smoke) is pleasing to Yahweh. This means Elijah calls out to all people who say they believe in Yahweh (but do not walk the walk their talk says) to "return your hearts" to the only true spirit that can save a lost soul. If not, then one's soul serves Baal and Asherah.
So, with all of this seen, it comes time to take a gander at how the world (especially the so-called Christian West and the United States of America in particular) has come to a point of confrontation, for spiritual survival. Look at how the political parties are playing the role of Jezebel, each with their priests (too many to number) “eating at the table of spin and lies.” The media is there eating all the hog slop as well, which they then promote like a religion to the lost souls. None of them could actually call upon a true el to prove their merit … like a true Saint, with a Yahweh elohim in the name of Jesus would be. If a true Saint were to challenge the priests of Baal (Republicans, Democrats, Socialists, Networks, Satellite Programmers, Communists, Zionists, Muslims, Money worshipers, Actor’s Keepers, Teachers Unions, Athletic Organizations, Doctors of Insurance, Scientists of Political Slant, ET AL) to prove just how holy each ‘priest’ is, they would all fail miserably.
The only answer to the mess the world is in today is to take the whole kit and kaboodle of the power mongers (start with the trillionaires, then mega billionaires, on down) and run them down to the “brook of Kishom,” in a rush of emotion charged by a plethora of souls being joined in marriage to Yahweh, each led by Jesus (a name that means “YAH Saves”), killing the ways of the world as they have grown today … most dangerous. Just like on the Fiftieth Day (Pentecost), when Peter and the eleven (plus other followers) spoke the truth of Scripture (Joel), the "people" who heard the voice of Yahweh speaking to their "hearts" numbered three thousand that one moment. The metaphor of that number has "three" reflect the Trinity of divine spiritual marriage (the Father, Son, and Saintly soul joined as one), where their commitment is 1000% - a reflection of a continuation of devotion after the current life is over, for eternity.
If it is just one Saint doing this (without the people returning their hearts to Yahweh as a true nation of Israelites), then the power mongers would repeat a reaction, like the Holy Bible tells us they always will do. Jezebel put a bounty out on Elijah’s head; and, Elijah asked Yahweh to take his soul, which He did, when Elijah died under a broom tree. The Sanhedrin plotted to have the Romans do their dirty work and crucify Jesus; so, no human being that would be possessed by the Yahweh elohe of Abraham, Isaac, Elijah and physical Jesus is ever going to change a material world from being made of matter. The only hope at this point is for each individual soul in a body of flesh to return his or her soul to Yahweh, in a commitment of spiritual marriage. Each must be reborn in the name of Jesus to survive the persecution that is coming in the future.
