According to Abarim Publication, the word “Zion” means “Dry Place, Sign Post, Tradition,” or “Fortress.”
The etymology is stated as such: “From the noun ציון (sayon), dry place or sign post, from the verb צוה (sawa), to be dry or to command.” A similar word is derived “from an Arabic verb that means to defend,” thus a “Fortress.”
According to the Biblical story, “ Zion was originally a Jebusite stronghold located in or near Jerusalem or is equal to Jerusalem (2 Samuel 5:7). King David captured this stronghold and it was renamed City Of David. David set up the tabernacle there and Solomon retrieved it from there to place the Ark and utensils in the temple.”
This makes “Zion” loosely equated to Jerusalem, which must be understood to have been Salem, when Melchizedek was the king, when he met with Abram after Abram had defeated the kings who stole the goods of Sodom (including Lot).
“And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God (elyown el).
“And he (Melchizedek) blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God (elyown el), possessor of heaven and earth:
“And blessed be the most high God (elyown el), which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he (Melchizedek) gave him (Abram) tithes of all.” (Genesis 14:18-20)
[The "most high god" is not Yahweh, but the soul of the Son of Yahweh - Adam, a.k.a. Jesus, a name that means "YAH Saves." Thus, Melchizedek knew Abram was a soul in flesh that was divinely possessed by the "most high god" - Jesus. Only one so possessed could have done what Abram did; and, Melchisedek was an angel of Yahweh (like a Samuel, who never died) who Anointed Abram as another 'priest of the most high god." Melchizedek was (basically) the cherubim who kept watch over the entrance into Eden, with "Salem" meaning "Peace, Perfect," from the verb שלם (shalem), to be or make whole or complete."]
Because Salem means "Peace, Perfect," the name changed to Jerusalem (not Zion). Jerusalem means "In Awe Of Peace, Teaching Peace," "from (1) perhaps the verb ירה (yara), to throw, cast or shoot, or ירא (yara'), to fear, and (2) the verb שלם (shalem), to be or make whole or complete." (Abarim Publications)
To be "Teaching Peace" is not being a "Dry Place" or a "Command," meaning Jerusalem is not Zion.
It is important to know that Joshua never defeated the Jebusites in battle. He never took the "Fortress" they defended that was called Zion (not Salem). Zion was called Jebus, which meant it was different from Salem-Jerusalem. The word "Jebus" means "Trodden Underfoot, He Will Trample Down," from the verb בוס (bus), to trample down."
Jebus also was not Zion, as only the "Fortress" above ground was called that. Most likely, Zion was like an old "Fortress" in ruins, impossible to defend from attackers (on the lowest of several hills). When attacked, there never was anyone to kill. The Jebusites all "trampled down" below the ruins, into the tunnels beneath.
Here, it is important to realize that the Jebusites did not live above ground. They were the tunnelers who lived underground. For David to defeat them and take their stronghold – the “Fortress” called “Zion” – he had to be led by Yahweh. David led a siege of Jebus, not Zion.
In 2 Samuel 5:8 one reads that David was led by insight (day) to know the only way to defeat the Jebusites was by to “reach” them by way of the “water conduits,” which was the underground collection of water from rains that had washed tunnels underground. No water above ground made for a "Dry Place." Underground wells nourished Jebus and the Jebusites.
Two times we read “the lame and the blind,” which are statements that the Jebusites lived in darkness, where only the “blind” knew which way to go, with all ways reached were done so by “crawling, “ like one who is “lame” and cannot stand to walk.
One has to understand that the Jebusites were not killed by David. To “reach” them through “water conduits” means David conquered their souls as servant to him as Yahweh’s chosen king. Melchizedek would have employed the same spiritual waters way of earning the Jebusite's support. Melchizedek passed the torch to Abram; and, Samuel passed that same torch as the keeper of the gate to Eden to David. Without a leader being "the priest of the most-high God" (possessed by Jesus' soul), the Jebusites would lead leaders like Saul (a king like any old nation, thus not filled with a divine possessing spirit) to always be at war. David, as Jesus reborn (before the man Jesus was born), led the Israelites to times of peace with their neighbors.
This makes the “Millo” not be in Jerusalem, but the vast expanse of underground tunnel systems throughout the land, which was as far north as Shechem and as far south as Hebron.
When Abraham purchased the Cave of Machpelah from Ephron the Hittite, he not only had to pay for the above ground property rights - both the field and the cave in it and all the trees within the borders of the field - he had make an agreement with the Jebusites for the part of the cave underground.
Jacob's bones were buried in Shechem, which is at the northern end of the Judean Mountains. This means the rights underground extending from Hebron to Shechem.
The Judean Mountains (or the Western Mountains) was where the Jebusites were in possession of everything underground in that mountain range. For David to make the City of David on Mount Jebus or Mount Moriah, he had to have an agreement made with the Jebusites not to ‘undermine’ that project.
Also, a little semantics for everyone. The word "Semite" was coined in the mid-nineteenth century. It is defined as: "A member of any of the peoples who speak or spoke a Semitic language, including in particular the Jews and Arabs. The name comes via Latin from Greek Sēm 'Shem', son of Noah in the Bible, from whom these people were traditionally supposed to be descended."
Merriam-Webster's provides this definition:
Semite
Sem·ite ˈse-ˌmīt
especially British ˈsē-ˌmīt
1a: a member of any of a number of peoples of ancient southwestern Asia including the Akkadians, Phoenicians, Hebrews, and Arabs
b: a descendant of these peoples
2: a member of a modern people speaking a Semitic language
The fact that the same definition source becomes narrow sighted when defining "Antisemitic" is because in English-speaking countries (West / Christians) there were no Arabs around for the English-speaking persecutors to blame for every wave of bad times. The Jews always got blamed; and, the Jews probably own either Merriam or Webster, so they coined a racist word that makes only Jews be Semites one can be against (everyone's against Arabs, right? the sons of Ishmael).
So, the worshipers of Zion are those whose religious intent has been set upon a "Dry Place," as a "Fortress" to hold onto land, which Yahweh took back from their ancestors, because their souls were not "water conduits" of His Son Jesus (like was David).
According to Wikipedia, this was known as the Flag of Zion
Rather than call their stolen land Judah (a word that means "Praised, Let Him Be Praised, from the verb ידה (yada), to praise. - Abarim Publications) - that sounded too German (Jude or Jüdin), they chose Israel.
The name "Israel" means: "He Retains God; God Is Upright, from (1) the verb שרה (sara), to become rigid from the retention of liquidity, and (2) the word אל ('el), God. Or, from (1) the verb ישר (yashar), to be upright, and (2) the word אל ('el), God."
Zionists are NOT "retainers of an el," other than their own souls. This means they cannot "stand upright" - righteousness - on their own two legs, being held up by the possessing el that is the Son of Yahweh - Jesus. David WAS "Israel." Because he was, he poured the "water" of faith into the "conduits" of souls possessing the Jebusites and "reached" them, "touching" them Spiritually, so they supported a land that could truly be called "Where all retain the el " of Yahweh's Son; so, all "Praise Yahweh."
Zionism is a philosophy of mind (evil possesses brains) that makes no bones about being atheist. To support Zionism is to support Satan's possession of Jewish brains, where somehow Theft of Palestine is celebrated.
This is a thorn in the side of the world that will bring about the End Times.
