They tried to seize him

Updated: Jan 25, 2021

I once wrote a commentary entitled “Jesus the escape master.” I wrote that because Jesus was constantly getting in the faces of the powerful leaders of the Temple and walking away from them unscathed. Lately, I have been in the faces of those who are the resurrections of the Pharisees and Sadducees, even one who deems himself the High Priest of God’s Temple – the Almighty pinned onto two legs and a head, who stalks like Judas and Nicodemus all rolled into one. Together, they want to do me harm. They are angered because I speak the truth, which they can say nothing in response that tells me where I am wrong. So, they plot my demise. Jesus had to have his Father tell him when the time to die would be, because the human beings that practice evil deeds have absolutely no power to kill anything holy. Even when Jesus let them seize him and let them try him unjustly and let them whip, belittle, and crucify him, everything they did they did to their own souls. Judas betrayed Jesus, which was no surprise to God or Jesus. Jesus said, “The Son of Man will go just as it is written about him. But woe to that man who betrays the Son of Man! It would be better for him if he had not been born.” Yes! Woe be it brothers and sisters. My little WordPress tinker toy says I have over 230 followers of this blog. Yet, I post and get no views, no likes, no comments. I understand a follower is like a here today, gone tomorrow fan; but there have been those who consistently look at what I write.  Sounds like the plot thickens. I shall be moving on from here. I will post enough to show a pulse; but I am looking at posting things via epub and selling them for 99 cents. Since my average length of an article is four thousand words, all I have to do is save a few and publish a collection of stuff. Blame the cost on the modern Pharisees who simply cannot stand there is a real presence of Jesus Christ in the world, which they cannot control. So, excuse me while I vanish, go “poof” into thin air, escape, and/or disappear.
